While writing Cardinal Machines book 8! There's a lot going on for me, a lot of it related to art (as folks here will know). But I am making time to write these two. It's important to me and really a romp!
Cardinal stuff tends to write much easier for me than when I'm working on a Folded Earth book. I think this is because there are authentic points in the book where I scatter the nuts of my neurodivergence (something the real world would never ask for) and even some of my actual sense of humour. Humour in the Folded Earth is more complex (but just as yummy), and there is no other character I write who is quite as differently brained as Zoey Collins Cardinal. It's a fun way to let off steam! Right now, I'm at about 27, 933 words in and thought I'd drop this writing gem, seeing as I almost constantly write to music! It's one of my very Zoey songs. If you're a fan of the Cardinal series, I think you'll get who she'd be talking about. I hope you enjoy!
