@Monika - Well, and I can't quite believe I'm saying this, the Elk is up in the air. No, I haven't given up on him, but I do need to have the right framing to include him. I'm also doing a little research on 'the Elk' to help round things out in my mind. I agree, the King is a little too curious (many times) for his own good, and would have ridden off to look around like this. Thank heavens he has tough and practical Ora as his guide! Lol! Oh, and yes! It took a while to find font that would suit his signature, but that font nailed it!
Love his signature!!! He had to look that way while searching for grounds where fires started. Did you decide to abandon the elk? He used elks in the Mirkwood Royals. I am sorry it took so long to reply but just got confirmation from this site.
@jinxyblue - Lol! I read that wrong and literally thought you'd said 'the Lockmaker Ring', which charmed me so much I laughed out loud! I've not had as much time as I'd hoped to write with the Christmas Holidays underway. There are a lot of appointments that hover around the holiday, everything from mailings to, well, my hair is (Twilight Sparkle) lilac now. Lol! I'm hoping for a little downtime from here to write!
